Oh, Aeron. I've waited for his story for what feels like ages, and I was not disappointed.

The mysterious entity that Aeron has felt watching him, and Legion has had to flee from on occasion, turns out to be Olivia--a new warrior angel charged with killing Aeron. Horrible, right? Only Olivia refuses to kill Aeron, as she has found herself drawn to him, and instead chooses to become "fallen" in order to be with him.

Filled with uncertainty, hilarious moments, terribly sad good-byes, and non-stop action, Aeron and Olivia's story was everything it should have been. Up until the end. The ending, for me, was just a little too neat. I know it must be in order for the series to make way for Gideon's story, but not only does Legion get a second chance, but Sienna does, too?

Speaking of Legion, what will come of her and Galen's "moment", I wonder. And does Sienna's return (despite the circumstances) mean Paris will finally get his HEA? I hope so. He deserves it. Torin, too.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed The Darkest Passion. The love story was sweet, the sex scenes were hot (!!), and the action was everything I've come to expect from a "Lords of the Underworld" novel. If you love the Lords like I do, don't miss Aeron's story.

I thought Gena did an amazing job with this book. At first I was not a fan of Aeron. After his whole bloodlust deal and then him having Legion as a pet really made me not sure about him but this book completely changed my mind. I like how Olivia was an angel but had a bad side and wasn't afraid to get whatever she wanted. The twists and turns in this book kept me interested the whole way through and I can not waiting to read the next one.

I almost wrote a longer review about this book but I decided to just write a short one instead since I don't have much to say. I wrote a lot of notes while reading this but basically only thing I want to say is that in my opinion while brutally honest and loyal, I don't think Aeron deserved Olivia. After everything Olivia went through for him I don't think he appreciated her well enough.
SpoilerHe chose not only his friends but Legion over her so many times and after everything.

This book had mixed reviews but I think that Aeron's story has been my favorite so far. There was romance, violence, and sacrifice, which made this book a compelling read. I was nervous to start this book at first due to the previous reviews but I am glad I took the plunge. Olivia is an angel and she is ready to experience the finer aspects of life like romance and passion. She wants those things with Aeron. Aaron doesn't want anything from anyone and is almost ready to give up on himself until he realized that sacrifice for love means more than anything (I honestly kind of teared up). Now Legion... she needs to go! i hope that we have seen the end of her. Continue on with this series. I am excited for LIES!

hi whores review time so liked this book a lot too not as much as the one before but like ugh it was so good but i was upset bc my fav demon character who i thought liked the main guy as a father figure was into him like romantically and i was like aww why can't we have cute platonic relationships in this series but anyways i loved the characters in the book like the main guy annoyed me a lil too much tho but the main girl ugh she has my heart. but the plot twists in this book were good like i really enjoy the authors writing be she comes up w these plot twists i didn't expect like usually i can predict them but hers i'm like oh shit fr bro but i don't like that she's tryna make the bad guy into a redeemable character bc mans literally had bitches like r wording girls to make his freaky children army like no that's not forgivable tf. also the ending of this one was eh to me be the guy dies but comes back but he loses like his demon LMAO i hate explaining this it's so embarrassing but he loses his demon and it was given to guess what the girl one of his friends is in love with that died that plot twist was good omg. like yeah he's still immortal and shit but he's not really like a lord of the underworld the mf book series tbh like you're out the gang bruv jkjk but it was still a happy ending. omg i cried tho bc he was reunited w his dead friend and when he was told he was gonna come back to life and leaves his friend i was so sad but ik that guy comes back to life too later tho but still i'm sad ugh. anyways rating it a 8.5/10 super good book i feel like the series gets better over time like the first book was oh second book for sure better and so on.

So far, it's definitely my favorite in the series. I loved the ending! This book had something the rest of them didn't, and I really got into the story.

3.5-4 stars.

Not one of my favorites but still an entertaining read. I liked Olivia, I liked Aeron and as usual I loved the other Lords.

My one complaint is Legion. I couldn't stand her. Even though, yes, she did redeem herself a little at the end, when she went to find Galen, but I honestly am not looking forward to reading her book (if she has one). Now that might change after I read the other 4-5 books in the series currently left but as of right now I can't stand her. She was a brat and I wanted Olivia to smack her and when Olivia did I cheered.

Anyway, it's a good installment to the series and I can hardly wait to read Gideon's.

This is my favorite so far in this series. I'm not so sure how the ending works out but when I read "The Darkest Lie" I'm sure I will figure it out. Aaron is a perfect main character. He is caught between two women he feels strongly for and gets caught in events that he can't predict or control. This was a great read.
