This book was good. I liked the mystery in the book and I like the Werewolf detective, Luna, I have not read anything else by this author. I was trying a new one. I think I would try another book from Caitlin. I think this book had some good mystery. Luna found out who she can trust in this book.

I quite enjoyed this one. Though from Night Life, Dmitri falls into the category of the "hero" who the heroine has known for about 5 minutes and falls in love with, I didn't mind him so much in that book. In THIS one, I just wanted him to die. The crap with Irina was ridiculous and annoyed the hell outta me. Other than that, I liked this book quite well. I liked Shelby a lot too. I've got the next one on my shelf and ready to go.

Humm.. You know that train wreck of a friend that you hang out and drink with though not really sure why 70% of the time? Luna and this book are kind of the embodiment of that.

Luna Wilder, bad ass werewolf/cop!

This chick is seriously insane. Either that or... I don't even know. Luna is just so intense in this novel and it's awesome.

This book was just really great in every way. With Dmitri, with new partner Shelby, with the mystery surrounding the new murders. Really great.

Can't wait to pick up the next one.

So, I have read this too, backdating to 2011 for the UFA challenge.

I just finished Pure Blood by Caitlin Kittredge and I must say I'm stunned with the way the book ended.
This second instalment in Nocturne City series is much better than the first one.
I wasn't hoping that things ended the way they ended. I can't say I feel sad or happy - I just really don't know what to think.
On one hand I'm happy, because I relish the fact that Luna is happier than I've ever seen her. I think she really loves Dmitri and I never liked that chick, Irina, so obviously I wouldn't want her ending up with Dmitri. That's why this ending is just curious. I liked Dmitri's attitude toward Luna. He was a real gentleman.
On the other hand, I'm seriously surprised because I couldn't have imagined they would stay together. I was convinced their relationship was doomed from the beginning, though I prefer to see Luna with Dmitri than with Trevor.

However I really don't know if this romantic interlude is going to last very long. The book didn't end with the feeling that everything is where it should be.
I sure am curious about the next book in Nocturne City series.
