SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)
After Willa wakes up from being killed, it seems like she’s closer to being a god now. Thankfully, she’s still connected to the guys, only it’s not because of the curse anymore but because of a permanent soul-bond that has formed between them.
Willa also finally gets to meet the guys’ mom, Adeline (the Goddess of Beauty). She tells them it seems like Willa has energy like a god but it feels different too, and it feels trapped like it’s dormant.
Staviti forces all Beta Gods (including the guys) to teach at a new, more exclusive academy known as Champions Peek. He claims that not enough new sols have been worthy of godhood and they need to step it up a notch to create more powerful sols. They later find out that Staviti actually just wants to kill everyone but the original ten gods he created.
Willa’s powers become more confusing when she accidentally burns Yael with strong god fire and then is able to heal him when the God Healer couldn’t. Her powers seem to be growing and becoming more vast. Especially after she also brings Emmy back from the dead, inadvertently turning her into a god.
She also battles Rau, who still insists she’s his Beta Chaos. When she tries to use Crowe’s Death Chains on him to send his soul to the imprisonment realm, he drags her there with him. She manages to kill part of his soul while there and Staviti’s brother Jakan (who is also trapped in the imprisonment realm) helps her to escape.
After escaping the Goddess of Love (Pica) takes a liking to Willa and forces her to move in with her. Her and the guys decide it might be the best idea to stay with her for awhile to lay low from Staviti while they plan their next steps.
Finally, Willa takes her sexual relationship with the guys further by having sex with everyone but Aros (so far), who has yet to have sex with her (but has had a blowjob from her while she was with Coen). While she was having sex with them, she also seemed to be absorbing their energy somehow, and they aren’t sure why.

REVIEW:
So this one was pretty good. It was a bit shorter than the previous books, but a lot still happens and so much is jam packed into the book.
All of the books in this series have been on the lighter, more humorous side, but this one I found to be the most comical (in a good way). So many times I was laughing out loud, which was a lot of fun. Fans of the series Four Psychos would probably love this series too because it has the same kind of comedic vibe to it.
Still loving all the characters, but I found some of the guys to be a little bit less vibrant in this book. I’m not sure what it is, but they seemed to be more in the background and Willa in the forefront than the previous books. Still love them, but just saying.
I’m also not that impressed with the sex. It’s not a steamy book, which is…okay. All romances don’t have to be super steamy (although I prefer that). That’s really the only thing missing from these books (in my opinion), but I still really love them even if the sex is rather lukewarm and glossed over. Plus, Willa is just so darn sweet and innocent, it’s hard to imagine the sex in these being very hardcore with her quirky personality. lol
I do gotta say I also don’t like the whole pressure of “keeping things even” between the guys. I get why they encourage Willa to make sure she keeps things even between them, but it’s also not realistic that everything sexual would be EXACTLY even all the time, and it feels like a lot of pressure to put on her. It makes it hard for her to live in the moment with each of the guys. Can she have sex with any of them again before going through each of them once? It makes the whole thing seem rather impersonal and less natural.
Emmy is in this one more than the previous books, and…meh. I’m not a big Emmy fan. She’s not a terrible person, but she’s kind of annoying and clingy. I also kind of wish her love interest would’ve stayed Atti. He was just really sweet and I hate that he was killed off. I really like Cyrus too, (a lot, actually) but I don’t like it when an author kills off characters I like.
I’m looking forward to where this is all heading. I’m pretty sure it’s obvious Jakan is her father at this point. It seems all roads are pointing at that so I’m curious how it all turns out in the end. Will she save him (and all the god babies) from the imprisonment realm and kill Staviti because he’s such a dickhead (heh)? I hope so!

So as I continue to read these books, very rapidly, I realize that they are absolutely wonderful if you love hilarious internal monologue, lots of banter, and an entertaining easy read. I gave this book only 3 stars because it sadly has occurred to me that it still is a very simple story plot with not much substance or character development. The authors even forgot the color of Emmy's eyes from book 1 to book 4 and that just rubs me the wrong way. I feel like they just wanted to push these books out as fast as they could without much thought to it. I still like the books, I guess I'm just disappointed because they could be so much better!

A solid read. Hilarious as usual, with a multitude of wonderful steamy scenes. Lots of revelations and interesting things. I highly anticipate book five.

Series review: As a reverse harem reader, it's impossible to not have heard about this series. And having finally read it, I don't fully understand the hype. I enjoyed it! I thought Willa was often genuinely funny, though I think many readers will be annoyed by her antics. I liked the guys, I liked the concept of the world, I liked the general story. I liked it! But I wouldn't hold it up as a pinnacle of the genre. Though I mostly found Willa to be funny (I still chuckle over the swimming scene) her personality does mostly boil down to "clumsy and sassy" and the men are literally named for their one defining character trait. The plot gets unnecessarily convoluted in some places. Ultimately, I liked it but it's not outstanding.

“I don’t want to be part of your six-way sex group.”
I agree... but somehow I just keep reading every time the next book comes out. They’re like puffy Cheetos. I keep telling myself that I need to stop, but I also keep shoveling them into my mouth. I rationalize that because I’ve already eaten so much, what’s the point in stopping now?

WHAT I LIKED:
This book is even better than the last! With Willa now being a Dweller turned God, she still as to hide herself from Safiti and Rau. When Stafiti changes the rules and forces all Sol's and Beta Gods to go to Champion's Peak in an attempt to become the strongest and survive to go to Topia, all hell breaks loose. None of the Sol's welcome Willa to the school, which forces her to have to use her powers to show just how powerful she has become. And... no more sexual tension!! There are finally some hot and addicting scenes here with her men that you wont want to miss out on.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
The ending that almost had me in tears...
OVERALL / RECOMMENDATIONS:
I found myself laughing so hard at the one scene in this book that I had tears in my eyes as I tried to carry on reading. I still smile thinking about Willa's panic at trying to fix the dickhead ;) .. This is such a good series and I seriously hope there is a totally epic ending (or that it doesn't end at all).. Recommending to lovers of Reverse Harem, Fantasy, and Romance.
