This fairly light historical fiction from early in Mr. Chambers career was a fun read for me. The author's writing did improve somewhat in his next two books, but this one was still good. Do not go into this expecting to learn a great deal of accurate history, do not expect social interactions to reflect today's politically correct climate, and you too may enjoy this "historical", light, romance set in the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
