This is a rocky start to a serial, but it still captured my attention. The opening scene was exciting and written in such a way that I was able to picture it very well. After that, I could have used more description of what Earth looked like and how things worked once the Infernals took over. Still, Sears piqued my interest enough for me to want to check out the next installment.
