I thoroughly enjoyed this gripping and action packed story. It should be a YA one but it can be appreciated by people of any age.
When it started i was thinking about Jurassic Park but the story is original and well plotted.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

I love books that are reminiscent of Jurassic Park and so I knew I had to give this one a try. It did not disappoint. From the prologue, it was clear that there are high stakes, with a brutal murder and villains who are willing to kill to hide their secrets. The map helps the reader immerse themselves into the story and the gorgeous setting is easy to visualise due to the stunning descriptions. The predators are detailed and well-researched - you can picture how terrifying they would be.

Although this is a YA read, there were elements of middle grade, however I thought that the story would be too gory for a middle grade reader. The plot touches on important issues, such as trophy hunting and pandemics, in a way that is easy to understand for a younger reader. Full of secrets, corruption, action and adventure, I loved it and cannot wait for the next one in the series!
