Love the cover, but it needs a hot man. Synopsis....Lille moves to Florida after breaking off an engagement to Paul, to help her friend Mary run a fetish store. This is part one of a series and this is where our character development starts. I have to admit I don't really like the characters in the beginning, they don't appear to be a likable bunch. They are snarly, rude, and standoffish. Lille is a complete ball buster, and while Max is attracted to her....well he seems to be attracted to a lot of different kinds of women. In fact most of the women we run into he's already had sex with. They don't hit it off well, and are at complete odds with each other. Maybe that's an underlying attraction, he doesn't seem to want to be dominated and Lille is determined that's how it's going to be. The one liners in this are absolutely cute...
Max: that dog was the only bitch that he'd ever been able to stand for any length of time, and he didn't see that changing anytime soon. (Ouch, kind of sums up his feelings for Lille)
Lille: other than the fact that he's a walking hard on with a ridiculous accent and he can't stand me, we're going to get along great.
I'm going to have to come up with a review guideline for series because normal review characteristics don't apply, but as far as world building goes. I definitely want to read part two. The sex scene between Max and Lille or is it Lille and Max, was insanely hot. I want to buy myself that toy now. So overall entertainment value is four stars. Loved this story. I like that its a continuation of the Fetish Box, but that you do not have to have read the first series to pick up this title. It will be interesting to see where the rest of the books in this series go. I love the idea of the stories about the people who work in a sex toy shop. They have lives just like everyone else.
