God I loved this more than the first & now I need the third !!!
Amara is so brave & I don’t know if I could’ve made the decisions she did to survive even though I don’t agree with all of them
Victoria is so tragic but so familiar & philos breaks my heart

Set in the famously notorious Lupenare brothel in Ancient Pompeii, this series explores the lives of one woman and her ultimate quest of freedom. I have enjoyed the first two books and am eager to buy the next! It's also really refreshing to read a book set in ancient times told from a human perspective!
