Wow.
Read it all in one day, Most of it in one sitting. Literally forgot to eat dinner.

Now that I've had a few days to process and step away from the my emotions, I do have some questions/issues, but I still really enjoyed it.

Three books have wrecked me out of 30+ years of reading.

1. The Light Between Oceans
2. Love You Forever
3. We Were Liars

I saw many comments talking about how much it made people cry and I honestly thought I could do it without bawling my eyes out. Yet here I am at almost 1am with a stuffy nose and swollen eyes. Well played, Lockhart.

I predicted the ending within the first 5minutes of reading the book. Not entertaining after that

Not my typical read. It was hard for me to get into. Suspense is not typical my go - to.

Recommended for readers that liked "Girl On a Train", which I only thought was "ok", so I guess I shouldn't be surprised I wasn't a fan. This book has a big twist. I didn't see it coming. Unfortunately, by that time, I didn't care. No empathy for the problems of the spoiled rich.

I love a good bouncing timeline book. I loved how the ending makes you rethink the entire thing and possibly start it over again. This was definitely my cup of tea, and I will absolutely be reading more of E. Lockhart!

Honestly didn't expect the book to end the way it did.
It was a completely surprise and I literally gasped when I found out the truth about what happened during summer fifteen. It took such a turn!
My only dislikes about this novel was that the beginning and the middle weren't as intriguing as the end of it. It was hard to get through this book and it took me longer than usual to finish it. (I usually read a novel in a day or two.)
The book gets three stars, which are many dedicated to Part 3: The Truth.
