I like how by explaining to Marco, we were also reading a recap of book1. I got into the story easily. We spent alot of idle time in part 1. I get that it's for us to feel what the normal life was like and the relationships but still I wasn't a fan. I think it stalled in the beginning. The story started a little late so only toward the middle of the book, I started reading it faster.

I didn't like any of his "romantic" interactions with her. I appreciate it if someone is honest but he was too blunt with it as if he was dumping his feelings on her head. I think I only loved the family relationships and loved Marco friendship and loyalty from the beginning.

Sometimes the amount of feelings she got from the world became excessive. I understood it but I was done with all of these descriptions

The best part was the 3rd quarter with the action and new knowledge. The rest made it 3 stars.

The fight and the ending were good but I lost interest in the story. Breen having
Spoiler the dragon and the power over yesult + shana and the romance were all very predictable
so I am not sure if I will continue with the series.

OMG......all the feels.

Breen and Keagan......wow! Can't breathe! So much angst, passion, duty! Their ending will be epic!

Marco and Brian are awesome I can't wait to hear more.

Love this story

This was better than the first and moved at a faster pace. I liked the narrator, which always helps with an audiobook. I’ll probably finish the series, but can’t say it’s something I’d read again.

I have been enjoying Bree’s story so far. I liked her relationships with everyone. I enjoyed watching her grow into her abilities. I wanted a bit more from her plot. It felt very slow.
