Really enjoyed the story here but there is too much of the allusions to things that are secret crap. I hate that...it just drags on too long here. Additionally, I didn't realize this was a cliffhanger book so it made it even more annoying.

Having said that I'm sucked in to the story and will definitely be reading book two so I guess that's a pretty good recommendation.

There wasn't a lot of time spent on supporting characters in this quick read, but the characters the readers interact with are well-developed. This story got an extra star from me because of the "dun dun DUUUUUN" at the end. It was an interesting and well-executed twist. Other than that this was a pretty standard story of this type with added hints of intrigue and skulduggery. Recommend to fans of the genre, non-fans might not enjoy as much.
