RTC but damn did I enjoy this one. This bpok was just so much fun to read. And so romantic too. This book was just so lovely. I really lost myself in this book in the storyline and I could not stop reading. This book just hit all of my buttons and I had the best of time reading it. Paranormal romances are a genre i’m only starting to get into, but safe to say that this book showed me that I can really enjoy this, because I just really enjoyed reading this book. This book just worked for me and I had such a good time reading it.

I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest opinion

Incredible, very well-written paranormal love story! Loved the intricate worldbuilding and the original characters. Tar and Merrick are both truly wonderful MCs. I loved how they were together, as adults falling in love, but I was also very moved by how they built such an intense friendship/connection from a young age. The author really knows how to spin a tale and keep readers on their toes. Apart from a beautiful love story full of longing, there’s heartbreak and suffering to overcome, with danger, deceit and mystery all around, which made for an intriguing story. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

This is the final in the Lost and Found series, and honestly I've loved every single one of these stories. From the very first moment we met Tar in the first book I've wanted, no needed, his story and this is it.

This series really is best read in order, you technically could read this as a standalone but there are many common threads running through them, and the previous couples do pop up from time to time. But this is Tar, and Merrick's story and it's the perfect finale to this great series.

I loved the start with the two boys meeting and connecting instantly and I really wanted them to find happiness together. I knew there would be trouble along the way (this is a Barbara book, after all

Amazing!!!

I cannot tell you how much I love this book and what a fantastic finish to the Lost and Found series it is.

Circumstances during their eventful and damaging childhoods bring Tar and Merrick together only to then be separated until adulthood. Once they reconnect they are once again drawn to each other but Tar feels too broken inside to be with anyone. So begins a tumultuous journey involving secrets that must remain so, villains wanting vengeance and a flickering romance that begins to burn bright all whilst ensuring that the world and the realms are not destroyed.

I felt so many emotions reading Tar and Merrick’s love story. My heart broke for them at times and then sang for them when they got their well deserved HEA. A giggle also snuck out here and there with some of Merrick’s banter!

There’s plenty of chemistry and heat filled scenes between these two wonderful characters, a great cast of side characters to keep things interesting, some angst, some drama and a very engaging perfectly paced plot that all combine for a very enjoyable read.

I’m not a lover of paranormal books. They really grate on my nerves, but there’s just something about the way Barbara Elsborg writes that hooks me in.

She writes with great wit and humour. Her characters are beautiful and flawed. Merrick and Tar are so sweet together.

This isn’t the kind of book you can read after a couple of glasses of wine. Well you can, but then you are going to have to read those chapters again! You need to know your vampires, from your gargoyles and watch out for the werewolves. I’m vegetarian but I’m thinking faerie blood and the lick of a vampire might be the sweetest things in the world.

I think I might love Merrick most of all.
