It's winter break and Percy, Annabeth and Thalia are going
on a mission to help Groover. He discovered two powerful half-bloods at the school he was currently at and needed help with getting them.

They get attacked, Annabeth is gone and Thalia blames Percy. Goddess Artemis goes on a hunt, and the rest of the hunters, along with Percy, Groover and two new half-bloods arrive at the camp, with a little help from Appolo.

Soon they get a new quest, but the stakes are high and Oracle predicts that not all will survive.

Old enemies, new monsters, the stakes are higher, the adventure filled with old myths brought to life and the enemy that keeps on getting deadlier.

Imperfect heroes and gods fighting chaotic sources that seem to have tipped the scale to their advantage in a great war yet to come is the major plot, not very enthusiastic but definitely worth reading to get a grasp on the concepts for the next books in the series.

First read: 4 stars
Second read: 4.5 stars

While the first two books are light on plot and events, The Titan's Curse is a more balanced book. It has got a good amount of action, interesting conversations and some very unexpected events in the end. This is a good middle book for the series and sets the stakes higher for the next book. Overall, this is a great read if you've loved the first two books and I enjoyed it more than my first read.
