I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters' developments throughout. I look forward to continuing the series!

I loved this series as a kid and I'm finally rereading it as an adult for the first time. It's definitely got a couple things that haven't aged well (this book definitely had some annoying sexism/faux feminism, and all the books in the series so far have had some (minor?) fatphobia and ableism), but all things considered it's not too bad. In my opinion this book holds up and I would still recommend it to anyone interested in the series, with the caveat that it's aimed at middle school kids. I'm really enjoying my rereads and getting familiar with these characters again, especially since I forgot so much of the plot specifics.

Not a fan of this one. The action (especially the end battle) was good but the characters were unlikeable. I definitely missed Annabeth and Tyson; Zoe and Thalia were so underdeveloped.

As good as all the other books in the series. Percy and Annabeth is so cute. The plot twists are great and engaging. I love Percy’s dry humor, it’s so enticing. All chapters  even the side charters were so well written and human, with real insecurities and personality. Some things that I really liked where
The improvement of the heroes relationship with their parents. But I kinda wanted more Annabeth and Percy moments. I also was kinda sad they didn’t include the day Thalia came back, like como on I wanted to know the backstory. Also, Bessie is the best
Super entertaining and keeps you on your toes, great plot. I actually predicted some things because of my background knowledge of Greeks mythology. It was super refreshing and rewarding to know about a story before it’s revealed yet. I was so proud of myself lol.
