So good!

Have to admit that I should have read this sooner! I can’t wait to read more of the Shadows. Mercy was everything.

Good but I expected more. This felt like a HFN.

Deep....beautiful....,scarred.....perfectly imperfect

Mercy and Rissa may have just jumped to my top book written by Jeanne St. James!! Complex, broken, hurting, perfect. Everyone deserves to be happy.

This one went right to the point. He is her bodyguard and yeah, things happen - all the time - we resolve the "problem" and then try to move on. The MMC is an emotionally constipated hero because of his scars and past. The MFC is a therapist that tries to get him to talk about his problems and his past * Let's say that they are both hardheaded and will not quit whatever they think is right. I would have liked to see more grovel from him, but he is funny in a really straight and psychotic way... he is alright in my book.

I’m begging you for MERCY!

Mercy stole a piece of my heart in Crow and Jazz’s book and after reading his book I am more in love with this scarred alpha hero than before.

Anyone who has read the DAMC series will love the first book in the Guts & Glory series.

Similar story to all of the DAMC books, headstrong annoying woman, in protective custody, gets kidnapped, gets saved, lots of sex.
