The least of my favorite so far. Do yourself a favor and keep reading the series even if this one seems disappointing!

I skipped a lot of this book so I am not really writing a legit review. I will probably come back to it later on because apparently there is important information for other characters but I just couldn't even force myself not to skip.. I think I may be done with the series for awhile. It's all the same.

Julian has to be one of my favourite characters. For someone who has lived with a shadow of darkness inside him, he’s charmingly upbeat and hilarious. Reading him watch the Troubadours flounder as Desari bonds with him is hilarious. I wish we could see him and Aidan reunite and introduce their life mates to each other.
Desari is fabulous. She is ultra confident and brash when needed. She feel so much empathy and concern for Syndil is palpable. Her union with Julian funny and sweet.

There was a bit too much rambling for my tastes but the narrator was good
