i honest to god loved this book. it had me giggling and kickin my feet the whole way through, there were parts that made me laugh out loud as well as well as made me tear up. i loved how goofy and charismatic carter became when he started getting comfortable around olivia. he is the epitome of a golden retriever boyfriend lol. this was the first hockey romance i ever picked up, and normally i prefer a darker romance but this book was a fun easy read and the spice was

It was sweet and a lot of swoon worthy moments but it felt super repetitive, by like 45% of the way through the book I felt like it could have come to a conclusion but it didn’t. Kinda odd. I wish Olivia held out for a BIT longer making the enemies part more worth it idk. But sweet overall.

This book had so much promise. There were so many cute and funny scenes that I loved but it all got drowned out by the excessive dragging of the book. It really didn't have to be that long, I found myself getting bored between the chapters so easily because it was so repetitive :(
