Sometimes I pick up books without bothering to read reviews or even the brief synopsis on the back. This was one of those books, and ... well, the cover really speaks for itself.

Quick read. Kept me a bit entertained, and I thought the premise was good but the execution a little sloppy. Really, there are only so many ways to write sex scenes, and when your book is 50% sex, it shows.

Pure trash. So much sex and violence. Lotsa murders. Sort of a fantasy fulfillment book, if your fantasy is killing everyone you ever slept with.

A lot of sex and violence but no point or plot and she’s a bad detective.

This was surprisingly incredible. I couldn't put this down and found myself wanting to read more and follow this femme fatale. The journey of sex and violence is definitely something I loved. The sex was awesome and the murders were perfect!!! Ibthink ibfound my new favourite genre.

Jesus Christ. To say that was utter dog shite is to down play the creative potential of a puppy's small intestine.

By turns quite erotic and violent, this is a pretty entertaining story of a woman who searches out men seduces them (or allows herself to be seduced by them), and then murders them during sex. Both the sex and murders are pretty explicit, and the whole thing is pretty lively. Perhaps the psychological explanation for her behavior, the backstory, is laid on a bit heavy, but it still works. At midpoint, the book felt a little repetitive, but Block pulled it off and ran some switches in the story. It reminded me a bit of the old novel The Eye of the Beholder, which was more inventive in both the storytelling and plot. Don't read it if you have a weak stomach.
