Very good book. The mystery of the "lies" in the title and the two time periods unfolds somewhat slowly at first, but not boring in any way. I really enjoyed the way everything was handled, ending was terrific. I love two time periods books, and I think there are far too few of them.
This is my first book by this author, will be looking for more by her shortly.

I loved this book! Mystery, romance, social issues, art, self-awareness, and more. Two dual stories in two time periods: In 2018 Morgan makes a grave mistake and finds herself in prison until a lady and her attorney visit her and offer her a job of restoring an old mural. The mural was painted in 1940 by Anna Dale. But something happens and the mural was never installed.

I really enjoyed this book. I was captivated by the stories of Anna and Morgan. I liked the alternating view points and the history involved in the story.

What a fantastic book!
Diane chamberlain created a flawless back and forth between 1939/1940 and 2018.

Truly a beautiful story, addicting, and so heart warming.

Entertaining enough story, but not one I'd recommend to friends.
