I kicked off my journey with this author with the "Sinner and the... " series. I was instantly obsessed! On a side note, I am so freaking excited for June to read the new one!!! I have also read a few books in the Fae Guardians series.

Anyway, I thought I would try this series out as they were mentioned in the Sinners books. I started with this introductory novella just to test the waters just in case I wouldn't be drawn in. Holy heck, I am glad I picked it up.

To me, her writing style is so... I don't know how to explain it... Warm and comfortable. It leaves me with the feels, regardless of the content. This story was obviously released to set the scene and (besides the excellent writing) it is a unique premise. I am so excited to start with the first book, Envy.

Holding thumbs that the series lives up to my expectations.

Content Warnings: violence, blood, and some mild sexual content.
Mention of: child abuse, neglect, pregnancy, and death.

This was a fun and quick novella that introduces us to the guardians/parents of the seven deadly sins. I loved that I was getting some scifi vibes of shows that I already know and love like Dark Angel and Stranger Things.

We're given information about the program but I loved that they left a lot of things open that I'm sure we're going to learn about later.

Very excited to dive deeper into this series ^^

I’m not a sci-fi reader but I was instantly hooked to this.

I adore Flint and Mary.

Mary and Flint

Wow! What a good prequel novella. It has action, suspense, and steam. The banter between Mary and Flint is hot from the start. Having read Fae Guardians previously I can tell I'm going to like this series just as much. I look forward to the next book.

I loved this introduction to the world of the Deadly Seven, a short novel to give a little of what is about to come !! It is hard to not fall for Mary and Flint who will love, educate and follow the growth of incredible children, made to save the world from its own sins.
