I loved the backstory of both characters and how they intertwined.
The most astonishing part for me is how Sophie describes emotions, feelings, sensations(touch, taste, etc.)
This less spicy than the first one.

This book was overwhelming for someone as sensible as me.
In a good way.
The plot is as expected (no surprise there) but I don’t think that was the real purpose of the end of the story.
It was an intense journey.

These two! I couldn’t get enough of them. I love a good Morally Grey, Murderous, Psychopath and Cole is a delicious one. And the love declaration from Mara. ♥️

I couldn’t put this down! I truly enjoyed this Duet and if you like dark romance, READ THIS! These were my first introduction to Sophie Lark and I’m hooked. I cannot wait to read more of her books!

My favorite Sophie Lark book yet! 

This book made me so excited to see what else Sophie can concoct because I absolutely devoured this one! As far as I’m concerned this was a grand slam for her. Mara and Cole were such amazing characters to put together and seeing him grow feelings for the first time was beautifully done. Their obsession was dark, twisted, and oh so addicting. Couldn’t get enough of them!!
