It was a decent book. A lot of moving pieces and I didn't predict the end which was good. The writing style seemed to shift midway through with the authors choice in vocabulary and imagery which was strange. It didn't seem intentional to aid the story  It was also weird having the main chatacter, a 17 year old high school student romantically involved with a 20 year old man. The story could have done just as well with a simple friendship. That aspect weirded me out sporadically throughout the story.

I LOVED this book. It kept me guessing and guessing on who the killer of Andie Bell and Sal Singh could be. Most mystery books make it pretty obvious but never lay the groundwork in a meaningful way. This author does.

Every chapter kept me on my toes. At times I thought this book was reading my mind and then a curveball would be thrown in and I’d be left reeling.

I loved following along with Pip and Ravi making my own theories as they went. I also loved the subplot
Spoiler of these two crushing hard on each other. It is what I like to call a sweet and slow burn. There’s something so wholesome about the both of them, I can’t help but root for them!

I love Pip. I love Ravi. I love Pip and Ravi together. But most importantly and to end this review properly. RIP Sal and RIP

This book was filled with so many twists and turns, I never knew which way the story was going to go.  I loved going through the process as if we were in Pip’s head because you really get to see the way her brain works.

Pip has such a caring heart, and it’s obvious through her reasonings on why she started this in the first place.  I enjoyed the sweet romance subplot and think that it occurred naturally through the course of events.

I don’t want to go into the entire plot of the book because I think it’s more enjoyable going into the story without it.
SpoilerBut it loses half a star for killing the dog.
