I am SPEECHLESS. I seriously don’t know what to say. This was PHENOMENAL.

Wow, what a ride. I can’t remember the last time I was so entranced by a book, so glued to the page that I couldn’t stop reading if I tried. From the very beginning, the story was unique, engaging, and unpredictable, but it was also masterful on the sentence-level. Every bit of this story lived up to the hype. I read so much that I very rarely “can’t put a book down” because I’m used to books’ usual thrills, but I COULDN’T PUT THIS DOWN. I spent a good chunk of the end with my hand clamped over my mouth in shock. I couldn’t be more excited to read the sequels!

Read in less than 24 hours, this moves so quickly it's hard to keep up with all the red herrings -  please check trigger warnings!! This is v dark subject matter even if lightly written for younger audience. Loved the multimedia effect of the evidence collected in murder investigation and the characters are all quite well drawn, not just the excellent main characters. Engrossing, poignant in places and a vindicating end- Def one of my better reads this year.

Listened to this on audiobook while doing some diy and it was pretty entertaining. The story had twists and turns that kept me engaged, and although it had a pretty dark subject it was an easy listen. Really reminded me of the truly devious series, i think because of the characters that populated the story, but i think i preferred this one. All in all, just a nice read :)

Fascinating, but perhaps not the genre for me. I don't have any umbridge with the way it was written; rather, I realized that when reading it I don't like the whole premise. The idea of a teenager poking into a murder/suicide investigation and solving it makes me.... uncomfortable. So I will probably not be reading more stuff like that, but if you do like that, then this is probably a great book for you.
