For me the book dragged to much. I couldn't go to the Finnish. The world building was netter then I expected but to short for such a long book. Also didn't liked the main couple

This book is by no means a literary masterpiece, however if you want a fun straight forward vampire romance novel this ticks that box. I was looking for a easy read romance novel and have a current obsession with Astarion from BG3 and this book definitely combined those interests.
At points the writing is a bit clunky and cheesy but the plot is interesting enough to keep me interested. The first 25% I really wasn't a fan and thought I would DNF this book but actually the second half was a lot more enjoyable and kept me interested.
Ultimately if you want an easy romance novel thats gonna not require too much thinking and you like vampires then this will be a good book for you.

An original take on Vampires, or Vampir!
I LOVED THIS!!!
Kova never disappoints. I was so excited to finally read this new story in the Married to Magic world!! First there was the Elves, then the Fae, now the Vampires and next will be the Sirens! I don’t want the stories in this world to end!
Ruvan, the Vampire Lord, and Floriane have such a slow-burning, but beautiful relationship. Ruvan is so gentle and kind. Floriane really lucked out by being blood sworn to him. Although it doesn’t appear so at first.
This was adventurous, with plenty of twists and turns, it had FANTASTIC world building, and well rounded characters! The plot had me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen!
All-in-all, this was a BRILLIANT Fantasy Romance story!! It will look so nice on my bookshelf with the first two books in this world!
