Gorgeous introduction to the character. Lacks an origin or proper explanation of the character, but it does it so well. The way the creators utilize wordless panels is ingenious and takes my breath away every time.

Middling to low 3 for me. I prefer longer stories instead of each issue being a different story like in this book. Also I did not enjoy the art. Some of the dimensions and proportions were off, the anatomy was weird a lot, and they used a shading style that is like rubbed on graphite which I dislike. I recognize Declan Shalvey's name, I don't remember if he's well regarded but based on this book he's not well regarded by me.
Graphic: Violence and Death
Moderate: Mental illness
