The book more or less tells the story of Robs entire life and his medical journy, during which I grew to absolutely love the characters.
The writing style was incredible and captivating aswell!
In the beginning there are some prejudices that come from the characters (as in during dialoge or descriptions) but especially the main character grows up to be more open and kind during the book.
Moderate: Death, Torture, Violence, Antisemitism, Medical content, Alcohol, War, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Child death, Miscarriage, Sexual assault, Slavery, Terminal illness, Grief, Religious bigotry, and Abandonment
