Enjoyable

There was something really enduring about this couple. I enjoyed reading their story. Very quick and easy book to read. Very steamy. I enjoy the author’s writing, easy to follow. Once you get past some of the typos and grammatical errors. I am now on to the next books. I am really enjoying this series

Hot damn. I knew this was going to be hot after I reread Beautiful and Dirty and remembered how sexy that quick novella was but I don’t think I properly prepared myself.

Zahra and Giulio were damn hot together and considering Zahra was contending with heartbreak over her cheating ex fiancé whilst on the honeymoon they should have shared together the fact I was swiftly invested in her new romance says it all.

This book had it all. Sex. Drama. Gun fights. A romantic chase across Italy to confess their love. It was the best. Add in some brilliant cameos from Sal and Shae and I was loving life. I can’t believe I finished it in one evening. This whole series is going to make my week I’m sure.

I enjoyed this one. Zahra spent way too much time thinking about her ex fiance and her estranged sister. Loved the ending. And how calm Salvatore was about his hitman falling in love.
Upped a star because I keep rereading it.

I can't get over how much I enjoyed this book and returning to this world introduced in Beautiful & Dirty.
I'm a sucker for a woman getting to live her best life after being treated horribly by her partner. I'm a sucker for an assassin with a moral code. I loved these characters even at their most messy (Zahra bb what are you doing! I love you though)

Even with scenes I personally wasn't comfortable with (public sex is a discussion in general), I loved the focus on how the two characters were making each other feel. How Guilio remembered how she touched herself after only seeing her one time. How Zahra didn't sugar coat Guilio's line of work but differentiating it from the evil of his dad. Lots of fun. Lots of nuances. Lots of heart.
I need the next book (and Salvatore and Shae's HEA soon please Katrina. <3 )

I feel the need to specify that it was the writing style, not the story, that didn't work for me!

I wanted to love this one.  I really did.  Maybe it was my headspace at the time but I just didn't love this one as much as I wanted to.  It started out really good but then it fell flat for me.  I felt like there was too much internal monologues and not enough dialogue between the characters.  Also, I feel like it ended abruptly, like nothing was resolved.  Maybe I blacked it out but I just felt unsatisfied with the ending and I am bummed that I feel that way.
