One of the most fascinating reads for me this year. WOW. I can't quite get enough of this case and true crime reads.

Wow, what an in depth look at the person who helpedโฆ if not solely responsible for putting away the Golden State Killer. A man who has spent most of his life as an advocate for victims and the families. His obsession with cold cases has shaped his life in a way where his obsession has helped many people but his family life suffered. So few people can do what this man does and get the results he gets. The book was interesting but tinged with sorrow. Some people may take offense at his take on faith but when your constantly bombarded with cruelty and horror itโs completely understandable. I appreciate what Paul Holes has done and I hope he puts a few more behind bars before he completely retires. Five stars for a great job!

๐ค๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ต๐ถ๐: this one is for the true crime obsessed! Such an interesting, behind the scenes view on how cold cases get solved.ย
๐ ๐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐๐: I loved this one! True crime is one of my favorite genres, so reading a behind the scenes perspective was really interesting. I also have been following the Idaho Murders, so reading this while that unfolded last week was mind boggling. So many overlaps I couldnโt keep anything straight. Paul had a lot of cool tidbits to share that donโt get portrayed in shows or documentaries.ย
