I was blessed with an ARC of this book and, as with all of Stylo's books, you just don't know what you're going to get.

Constantine(Con) recognizes something in Dulcie--something that's inside him... he's just waiting for her to embrace it.
This book is about kindred souls. It's violent, depraved, and dark. It's also about finding your true self and trusting in who you really are. The love Con has for Dulcie is rock solid and so deep it could destroy him--literally. Dulcie's love for Con is as real as it get, she just needs to believe in herself.

This book blew me away. It's one of the darkest books I've ever read... it's also one of the most honest. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. If you're not willing to go over to the dark side--the bad side--then you're not ready for this book. I enjoyed the depth of characterization and how true to themselves they were--no matter what. This book had me thinking about it long after I finished--I still am, truth be told.

This book surprised me, it's not a genre that I really like. But I must say that the book holds you from beginning to end!
The main couple does not fit well with the ideas and the situation is only getting worse in the course of the book, sincerely the fact of finding out how the couple ends is what most entails you, this half-impossible and half-psychotic love is completely different from everything I already read. The book is short which ensures a quick and enjoyable reading!

· 4 stars. (read no. 2)

”After everything we did, after everything we said, and you just did it again! Not a fucking word ...” she was still shouting, still hitting him, but did nothing when he unbuttoned the front of her shorts and began yanking the material down her legs. “... god, I hope someone kills you. I hope someone kills you, and I hope I'm there. I'll bury your fucking body under a cardboard box by the train station, and I won't even fucking care.”

i love romance. <3

Stylo Fantome has written a beautiful and twisted story about 2 people who fit together but also should never be together. They are both crazy on the same side of the coin.
Con and Ducile are seriously deranged but find each other.

The prose was so flowery. I just couldn't take it seriously.

I loved this book but it's definitely not for everyone . I'll start off by saying to any potential readers, " TAKE THE WARNING SERIOUSLY". I'm NOT KIDDING.

Everyone knows the story of little red riding hood right? An innocent girl getting eaten up by the big bad wolf but what if see wasn't so innocent , what if she was just as bad ? That's basically the story that we get here from Stylo Fantome and I'm so glad that I came across it.

Dulcie Travers is an artistic junior with now hope of ever leaving her small town. In contrast Constantine Masters ( super evil name insert here) has it all as the college bound, football star that also happens to be the mayor's son. These two are different tracks but when they collide though (literally ) something wicked , explosive and yes very bad is born.

These soulmates recognize the darkness in each other and don't try to change it. They just relish how fucked up they are and room wild together. It makes for some really hot sex scenes in the book.Dulcie and Constantine are one of my favorite couples and your coming over to the dark side then they'll be yours too.

Dulcie and Constantine are like bleach and ammonia , dangerous apart and even more dangerous together. They first bump into each other after Constantine sets fire to a guys car , Dulcie unexpectedly covers for him .
SpoilerLater their eyes meet across the room at a school dance, perfect Cinderella moment right? No not all but it was so much better. Soon after random dude tries to get frisky with Dulcie and Constantine slams his head against the wall until he's a unless rag doll. Then the unlikely pair precedes to have a really intense make out session , you know like there's not an unconscious guy a couple feet from them.
