Got sick of all the fucking they seem to do. Was skipping over sex scenes...I do believe there is a statement that goes..."Enough is enough and enough is too fucking much!"

I started reading Release Me and before I had read half way through, I had ordered Claim Me. This book continues the roller-coaster that is Damien and Nikki, and with their agreement about the painting coming to a close, and Nikki becoming a million dollars richer, can their relationship continue? Ms. Kenner gives a brief synopsis of book 1 in this book, so it can be read as a standalone novel, but the get the full depth of their relationship, it should be read as part of the trilogy. Because of Nikki's early life as a pageant queen she has had little control over her life as her mother controlled everything, you would expect her to rebel against control from Damien. Although she submits to him as a lover, she discovers her strength in being able to say no to Damien. Can't wait for number 3.

The first book was better, but the love story between Nikki and Damien is great still!

"Claim Me" is the second book in the "Stark" series by J. Kenner and takes up where the first book, "Release Me", left off. While Nikki Fairchild finally shared her secret with Damien Stark in the previous book, bits and pieces of Damien's own secrets are coming to the surface in this sequel, especially when they begin to affect Nikki and their relationship.

As with the first book, the writing, especially in terms of story flow and character development, remain stellar. I found myself becoming even more invested in both Nikki and Damien. This second book gets a higher rating from me because the story and characters were able to distinguish themselves from their predecessors (Ana Steele and Christian Grey and the "Fifty Shades" trilogy and Eva Tramell and Gideon Cross and the "Crossfire" series).

Five out of five stars! ^.^

Finally finished it! Yay! Only took me about a month.. I kept putting it down to read other books because I just couldn't get back into it.. The characters bored me and the story bored me which was unexpected since I loved the first book. Will read the next one but I won't get my hopes up for it..
