Stalkson Grey was on of my favorite side characters - briefly mentioned in a previous book. His verbal sparring with Elora is classic and had me chuckling every time. It was great to see a book with a large portion of the story dedicated to him and his werewolf tribe. His dying tribe - dying because there are not enough females for the young males to mate with and reproduce to keep a healthy population - are desperate to try anything that may save them and help them all find their true mate. The plan to save them comes from the strangest of places - but it's a good one. Stalkson is shocked when along the way he finds a mate of his very own - but he's not sure if he will every be able to have her. It was so sweet watching the hard ass werewolf fall for someone and get all emotional.

The rest of the story keeps us up to date with the B Team members I love to hear about and the search for a way to prevent trans-dimensional invasions. We get to see a lot more of Glen, who is also becoming a favorite of mine. (Is it possible for every character to be my favorite?) With big changes coming up for Jefferson Unit, there's lots to look forward to in the next book.

I love how throughout the series she recaps what happened in ALL the previous books. These books keep getting better and better. There is no words to describe it. If you haven't started reading these books you really need to. I never want this series to end. Victoria Danann is an amazing author and definitely proves that in this series!!!

Forever a Danann fan! :)

The world of strong, protective, drool-worthy males, that make up the order of the Black Swan continues. Their female counterparts are also strong, protective, gorgeous and not whiny damsels in distress! The stories lead into one another and the characters become more in-depth. The humour is brilliant and they always read like a genuine family teasing one another.

Some big changes which are noticeable are the more involved roles of Deliverance (my favourite Demon with the talent of appearing at just the wrong moment!!!!!) and Grey. Others just seem to grow more comfortable with themselves and their role in life Glen - who is my secret crush!.

I wasn't as enamoured of the werewolf as many reviewers, but I quite enjoyed this book, following the Order of the Black Swan and delving deeper into the lives of some of the characters who were introduced in bit parts earlier in the series. I could wish that not everyone was so perfect and beautiful and strong/super-powered, but hey, this is a book about paranormal people and occurrences, so take what you will from that. Nice to get back to the unit and have the family close by again, with Litha's ability to make travel just that bit easier.

Enjoyable even if some of the storylines seemed a bit rushed. I could see it being two books with opportunity to develop the characters further
