How the hell did this get such a high rating?! I couldn't stomach it. The main character was immature and exhaustively annoying. The whole beginning was completely unbelievable. Who lets their kid run of to INDIA with a man she met at a circus to take care of a TIGER!? Don't get me wrong, the idea is pretty cool but the execution was dreadful. It definitely could have been so much better..

This book was awkward and a total waste of time. I wonder how it received that high rating on goodreads since it seemed like a cheap piece of fanfiction to me. It get's one star for interesting use of Indian mythology and traditions. The charakters were flat and boring, just as the writing style and the plot, which didn't fascinate me at all because of predictability and a very trivial subject. I'm surprised that I could finish it.

DNF :(
I just couldn't get into the writing style and it was overly detailed in parts but lacking serious detail in others.
For instance we get a huge in depth description of a plane & what it used to transport but don't really know an awful lot about the girl who is on the plane.
I don't know maybe I wasn't in the right mindset for this but it just didn't work for me at all.
