The tagline about this book being a warm witchy hug perfectly captures the feeling. Cozy magic in modern times with fantastic dialogue, laugh out loud moments, and romance - this story warms your soul like the best cup of tea.

Very sweet (perhaps a tad too much so) if rather static and sometimes formulaic fantasy romance. There was considerably more romance than I expected and those parts of the book were the weakest for me as the author seemed unable to resist every romance writing cliche, but the fantasy aspect of this was very nice and the found family our heroine encounters is charmingly eccentric without being outlandish. Well-drawn child characters are also a plus. Overall, this is a warm, cozy book that doesn't quite live up to its potential but makes for a pleasant, stressless read.
