I love this spate of openly-feminist romance novels that don't shy away from real-life conflict. Reading about men who actively want to break the cycle of toxic masculinity, who treasure their wives, and who call other men on their bullshit, is so goddamn refreshing.

Also, this book has no business being as good as it is. I may have cried through the last 3 chapters because of the emotional punch of real-life questions--what if I give control of my happiness to someone else? What if I found out they lied to me? What if I become the monster I fear?--is just *chef's kiss* perfect.

My only quibble would be to include more diverse characters, either in terms of body type, racial/ethnic makeup, or neuro-diversity. You're already writing feminist romance, so make it intersectional!
