First book read and first review of the new year! Getting to know some favorite characters better while reading a new book from a favorite author seemed like the perfect way to start it off!

I love this world that Livia Olteano created. I could go back to it over and over again. In Gargoyle Addiction we met Karla and Kann, who I adored, and I was happy that we got to see them a bit in Dragon Craving. In Gargoyle Addiction we also met Elana and Obitus, but we definitely did not know what to expect from Obitus.
I don’t know what I thought Obitus was going to be like other than scary when I finished Gargoyle Addiction. Now that I have finished this book, I have to say I want a dragon.
I think I said I wanted a gargoyle when I was done with Gargoyle Addiction.
This was fabulous! The relationship between Ela and Obitus was fun to watch grow, as we saw Ela’s skepticism, she knew what a dragon’s true nature was. They are sneaky deal making tricksters who cannot be trusted. But there was this pull between them, an attraction that she was having trouble fighting. She had to fight that attraction when she was able to see the world ending in fire and brimstone as a result of said attraction. Even though she was fighting the pull towards Obitus, there was a slight problem, what a dragon wants, a dragon gets, and once they get it, they never ever let go of their treasures.
It was just another amazing journey through their attraction and saving the world. There was a hint at a new relationship to come and I cannot wait until I can read the next book. I really like the male character that I think will be involved. I haven’t gotten as much of an impression of the female that I think will be his counterpart, but I know if it is coming from Livia’s mind that it will be amazing and I will fall in love with those two characters just like I did Karla and Kann and Ela and Obitus.
