I absolutely love Lauren Connolly and her books, especially the folk haven series. This book just wasn’t my style. I loved Fred but I found Harper hard to like for the first while of the book. I did enjoy the backstory through the chapters in the past but I think I would have preferred if it was more of the jump forward to them both being in LA and him being a bodyguard. I loved the second part of the book! Shelley is a great friend to both of them and I need a book of her and Roman.
