This story starts out strong. Draven appears heartless. Except for his brother there does not seem to be anyone who really affects him. The Lia enters. That changes the tone of the story. The flow remains consistent and kept my attention. I was not surprised by the whole part about Ratt. I liked how the author brought out the caring part of Draven with his brother and Lia. I am also glad that Lia is a strong personality. No other would have worked. I like how the brothers were opposite yet similar. Sort of walking both sides of a coin. I look forward to who will be next in the series.

From the outset Draven was dark, I thought smokey had a wicked side, but I think Draven is a league up, if that's possible.
Lia and Draven have almost hate romance as he wants info from her, but the man underneath the beast craves her.
As for Lia well her dark secrets will destroy everything between them that she would rather due than tell them.
It's a dark read which I truly enjoyed, I can't wait to read more from the soulless bastards so cal chapter.
