This book did a great job of showing Morgan's continual struggle between good and evil, and her discovery that it might not always be cut and dry. The relationship she forms with Ciaran is heartwarming a little, and I found myself rooting for him, hoping he wasn't as evil as everyone says he is. I hope we find out more information about him in coming books that proves that. :) Morgan's stubbornness sometimes irritates me, like why she kept herself from Hunter, or how she finds out a little information and cling to that as truth, stubbornly refusing to hear anything else. I wish she would seek out more information and try to find out more. I can't wait to start the next book, though and see where everything is headed.

Felt good but not great about this book. Morgan seemed to fall apart just because her parents weren't there when in reality she never even hangs out with them enoigh to feel a difference. IDK, it felt a bit forced to me that she fell apart when her real dad and half-brother were just around the corner.

SpoilerI really hope Hunter and Morgan make up soon cause I just love them together!

I'm upping my star rating for this one after a re-read. I loved not remembering the plot of this book, and found the events in this book to be even more personal and heart-warming and troubling than the previous installments. Although I love the idea of Wicca and the magic in this book, I would never trade my life for Morgan's. Hells no.

Another favorite in the series! This one and The Calling fit so well together. I love the dynamic of Killian, Ciaran, and Morgan. I love the battle of dark vs light within Morgan. Shapeshifting. Love. All the good stuff.

Deceit! Espionage! Nature vs. Nurture! Romantic Angst! This one is just a perfect addition, where the series hits it's stride and I get to enjoy the drama of it all. I can't wait for the next one.

Yop, I really enjoyed this one! But when I see the title of the next book, I'm like "Oh noooooo... Not again!"
