Ok, I think Autumn Miller might be one of those go to authors when you just need a good bit of escapism!
Hot and steamy with a good dollop of love thrown in.

Didn't expect much going into this. I really loved the title and cover and fell for it. But inside was an good story and hot spice. This is an enemies to lovers age gap , arranged marriage romance. Kate is a carer for an elderly William who has a tumultuous relationship with her last living relative his grandson Daw. In an effort to control Daw, William gives his inheritance to Kate and with Daw only able to access it after a year of marriage. The way the book is done is 3 parts, 1st and 3rd part are Kate povs and middle is Daws and i loved this.
Takes place in Britain so uses British English
Only reason it's not a 5 star read is I felt I couldn't get a grip on Kate she seemed overly meek and then suddenly found her bite.

This book went exactly how I expected it to and I thought it was great. I enjoyed the different genre for a change and the little bit of romance.
The book was in-depth and interesting. The twists and turns surprised me in places and I thought the character development was excellent.
I think Iād be the same as (name of guy) if someone who was family related or anything had inherited all of my inheritanceā¦ I see why (name of character) done it to teach his grandson a lesson but I think it was pretty crappy too.
Beautifully written novel, Iād highly recommend! Thank you to @lovebooktours and @autumnmillerbooks for this ARC! So grateful to be on this tour.

THIS BOOK WAS SO, SO GOOD. It reminds me a lot of what would have happened if āKnives Outā was a slightly less dark romance with tons of spice and less irritating family members. The ending made me smile and all of the characters were adorable. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT ENDINGGG!!!!
4.5 stars overall, such a beautiful read!
I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Marrying The Heiress by Autumn Miller through BookSirens. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

My Thoughts: I absolutely adored this book, the writing style flowed easily but drew you in straight away, before I knew it I was 100 pages in!
I have to saw William Dawlish Senior was my favourite, as much as I knew he was going to die I was absolutely devastated when Iād happened, I donāt know if itās because weāve had a couple of bereavements in our family but it actually made me shed a tear!
Enemies to lovers is one of my favourite tropes within romance so I devoured this and loved every second of it!
I loved Will and Kate as separate characters, Will was cocky, entitled and selfish and as much as I wanted to hate him there was just something about him that made it impossible to hate him, so when he started showing his softer side, I knew Iād need right not to write him off straight away!
Kate was warm-hearted, caring and always put others before herself, so when we found out about her life and living arrangements my heart broke for her and I couldnāt help but feel that she deserved the inheritance

This book in itself was good. I liked the character development and the progress. Though I did think the relationship between Kate and William was a bit...strange. Kate moving past her past and working on her future>>>. My rating is just because there are tropes in this book that I really dislike. Overall high score and recommend if you want sort-of an enemies to lovers, wealthy life style and some cricket references?

I was gifted an ARC apart of @lovebooktours in exchange for an honest review. Steamy romances are a guilty pleasure of mine so I was more than willing to give it a go and Iāll just say that it was a decent read.
