The story is told with a nice rhythm and very intricate graphics. There are a places where it feels like the stanzas are divided oddly across a turn, disrupting the rhythm.
It's probably too intricate to use for a group storytime, but solo or one-on-one reading should be fine. I would probably put it out on display during a lesson involving STOMP.

I am being generous, I think with 3 stars.
The first few spreads dragged for me--irregular rhymes and inconsistent rhythms surrounded by a page lacking any white space and just overly busy with digitally rendered color illustrations. However, as the story continued and the rhythm established a regularity that also incorporated more white space, the story began to breathe again and feel more like a song. It is possible to read this aloud, but not without a lot of practice first, unless you can rap. Then go for it.
