Very disappointing. Never has happened before, but I couldn't finish it. It's like a late 90s early 00s lifetime movie. I rolled my eyes way too much. Also, reading the word "mama" so often from two grown women who supposedly do not even like nor have a relationship with their mother was super annoying.

It was pretty predictable but very well written. I teared up a number of time & thoroughly enjoyed this book

Enjoyed this book about sister’s relationship but not best Kirstin Hannah in my opinion but a good read

Book was definitely no where near Nightingale or the Great Alone. Much more like a beach type read, even though subject matter isn't exactly light. Just felt a bit like a lifetime movie especially the second half of the book. Two sister characters were interesting but felt like the story line was contrived at many parts and other characters weren't developed well at all. Really love this author but wanted to finish this book more out of respect for her other books than interest in this one.
