It just felt really sleezy and overtly sexual.

I enjoyed this, the characters felt real and I enjoyed the added element of the individual family dynamic and of seeing how the two families came together. It was also the family aspect that was at the heart of something that I found hard to believe and led to me questioning the neatness of the end.
SpoilerKris’s family knew she was a lesbian and had seen her with other partners before, they liked D’Vaughn so them going with the marriage at the end I could believe. D’Vaughn’s mother however hadn’t known about her daughter or if she had, she questioned Kris as being suitable, she questioned the speed, she questioned a lot! I just couldn’t believe that when Kevin makes the reveal at the end about the show and asks are they going to take the money or marry that D’Vaughn’s mum is instantly okay with it all. I just felt that her character would have questioned, cautioned waiting. It just all felt a little too tidy .

This was super sweet. Like make your cheeks hurt from smiling sweet. And also make you fan yourself from some great steamy scenes. It was a short fun read, I did think the ended was real quick and could have done more. Also, the reality tv ending was a little far fetched but.. idk. It’s reality tv. I actually loved the premise of the book. Really unique. Love can be found in many ways. Even on reality tv
