Super cute collection! Loved the idea behind it and that different Muslim authors worked on it with her different eid experiences. The main target group is definetly on the younger side so not for me.

I enjoyed these stories about friends, family, and generosity. Most of them take place through the eyes of children. I listened in audiobook form, but one of the narrators (male) had an extremely annoying voice. So I would have preferred to read it if my library had had it. Made it better to listen during the time of Ramadan even though I am not Muslim and as I will be travelling to a Muslim majority country soon and it gave me more of an insight into what Ramadan and Eid entails.

This was such a wonderful collection of stories about the Muslim festival Eid. The characters were complex and endearing. I really loved learning about eid through the eyes of middle school Muslim kids.

Oh, this anthology was absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend it enough.
It was aimed more at a middle-grade/primary-school audience, but I still really enjoyed it.
My favourite stories were probably 'Eid and Pink Bubble-gum, Inshallah' by Randa Abdel-Fattah, 'Perfect' by Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow and 'Taste' by Hanna Alkaf. Special shoutout to the story "Maya Madinah Chooses Joy' by Ayesha Mattu because it was nice seeing a character with my name!
I like how it focused on how many different cultures celebrated Eid, not just the usual Indian/Pakistani or Arab celebrations.
Anyways, it was a fun read for the night before Eid!
