Something i read in the hopes of getting me out of my reading slump. And nothing pulls you out more than death and despair. A story filled with foul spiritness, viscera and gore. A manga with visuals that stick with you after reading.

For all the shocking subject matter and theming, this was astoundingly mid to me. It disturbed me sure but I went in expecting that. I wanted something unique, the art style was so unique and the actual story was quite eh. Kind of wish it was weirder. The ero part of this eroguro manga was throughly the most disturbing parts of it, the fact that the characters were so young left a really bad taste in my mouth. The art style was gorgeous but the narrative wasn’t there for me and I will probably forget these characters by the end of the week.

That was . . . interesting. Horrifically gory and bloody and a fair amount of nudity and sex, even some BL scenes. It is definitely for mature audiences only. As for the story itself, it's certainly an oddity, especially with what the Light Club ends up building for their grand plan. The macabre pomp and circumstance of the club is hard to look away from. I would not recommend this book for people with easily upset stomachs. Target audience would be more like fans of infamous guro manga-ka Shintaro Kago.
