The writing and dialogue bothered me - I can’t put my finger on what exactly but needed more flushing out I think. The beginning was very abrupt. Hank was an immature asshole. Reads as more YA but the fmc is 29 and the Mmc is 33. Cute story but the dialogue and writing was more about telling me than showing me what was happening.

Story was good but not brilliant. Hank is such an annoying character - it really just dragged the book out. Definitely won't be reading the next book to see a redemption arc. At 50% through the book I thought it would be over but Hank and the ideas surrounding him just dragged it out.

I would have loved to know more about what Zach is thinking. A dual POV would have been awesome for this book. But the story was cute.
