A sweet friends to lovers story that held me captivated with beautiful moments of real friendship between the main characters and although it's a story low on angst, it has it's elements of surprise and as any reliable person, both of the characters are having their insecurities and flows showed up throughout this lovely heartwarming love story.

So cute!!

Another great book by Harloe Rae. I love Shane and Addison’s story. The way Shane loves Addison makes me wash I had a Shane.

So not what the ads claimed

I was very excited to read this book. I’ve been seeing it in my Facebook feed for weeks and finally added it to my Kindle Unlimited library. I expected more fun and romance but this was a little more angst and than I had anticipated. I reached a point at around 75% where I started skimming because I was irritated with everyone. I’ve read books where people in their early 20s are very mature for their age and then there are books like this where they aren’t. I don’t know, I think I was expecting more and once I realize I wasn’t getting that, my anticipation for the book fizzled out. That doesn’t mean this book isn’t for other people, it just means it wasn’t for me.

I won an ARC copy of Lass and I loved it! From the very beginning I was freaking hooked. I have read plenty of books where the heroine is a virgin but never a book where the hero is the virgin and I actually really loved it! How is it possible that someone that has never done the deed could be so sexy! Shane is my favorite hero Harloe has written he is the perfect match for sexy, sassy Addison. This is a must read! My favorite five star read of the year!

Addison is bold, confident, and Shane's biggest temptation. Shane hasn't figured out how to move from being just friends with Addison to something more. So when Addison is looking for a new roommate- opportunity lands right in Shane's lap. The perfect way for Shane to get close to her. Until she decides it will be strickly platonic- Roommates only relationship. Shane's desire for Addison grows, now he just needs to seal the deal. Will opposites finally attract?
I loved the dynamic between Shane and Addison, and the small town of Garden Grove. Addison and Shane are complete opposites. Where Addison is confident Shane is shy. Shane lacks experience, in just about anything before moving to Garden Grove. Their chemistry fights to blur the lines between friends and roommates to something more. 4⭐ out of 5⭐

I don’t actually think Harloe can write a bad book. Yet again, the author drivers a remarkable friends to lovers story that keeps your attention all the way through. It’s a sweet kind of read, not exactly my typical trope but I found I loved this!! It still holds that heat, and the need to frantically turn the pages to see what happens next. Addison and Shane are just adorable!! Shane’s new to town, and happens to have Addison waiting on him, but as clueless and blind as he is, he doesn’t see that the love of his life is staring right at him. They become roommates and their bond strengths and the chemistry between them heightens, it’s such a lovely thing to read! I couldn’t help but laugh at how oblivious these two were and the way they were when they were together. You know, you just know that these two were meant to be together, and when this realisation comes to the surface... woah, the heat, the chemistry, and the undying love between these two is swoon worthy!

Harloe is master at what she does, she’s known for her swoony, funny and steamy romances and this book is by far one of her best!
5 stars!
