4.5⭐️ My 22-year-old daughter was just diagnosed with high functioning autism and this helped me A LOT. This helped me to realize a lot of her symptoms from when she was a child when I tried to get her assessed several times and she went undiagnosed. I learned how she has to mask for her to survive in her job, why she’s always exhausted and so much more. If you think you are autistic, have a loved one who is autistic or just want to learn more, this is an excellent book!

I related to this book on so many levels. Helped me to begin to understand why I was doing what I have been doing for so long and why unmasking feels both so unnatural yet necessary. Will definitely be listening again.
