- Main Couple: Alexander/Christian
- POVs Included: Dual POVs (Alexander, Christian), Mila

-----------------------------------

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Alexander’s girlfriend Mila wants to have a threesome…with another guy. And she has just the guy she wants picked out. Alexander is hesitant because he’s straight and not sure how this will go.

At first it’s awkward and Alexander thinks Christian is super annoying. But when Mila invites him to join them again (without consulting him first), it becomes a regular thing. And soon enough Alexander and Christian start leaning more towards each other than Mila.

As Alexander questions his sexuality and works through his qualms about cheating, Christian is trying to figure out what Alexander really wants. And Mila is wishing she never instigated the threesome in the first place.

REVIEW:

Have you ever read a mmf romance and just wished the two guys would ditch the girl and be only with each other? I haven’t personally, but that’s basically what this is. lol

But in all seriousness it’s actually not a mmf romance. The threesome is really just a door to the relationship that begins between Alexander and Christian. There is really no emotional connection with Mila so it’s pretty clear it’s gonna end with the two guys being together (alone).

I enjoyed this one a lot. The chemistry between Alexander and Christian was phenomenal. They were incredibly cute together. They had the whole grumpy/sunshine thing going on (which, so far, is a pretty typical trope used in this series).

But I loved them together from beginning to end.

We first met Christian in the last book, Just a Bit Twisted. I liked him in that book, but his personality is even better in this book. I love how he pushes Alexander’s buttons on purpose just to get a rise out of him. He’s a lot of fun and quite playful.

Alexander is stoic and a little stuffy at first, but he eventually likes Christian and his playfulness. And I think Christian brings out the best in him. I felt for him having to go through basically a shadow of what he saw happen with his parents.

The only thing lacking in this one was it needed an epilogue badly. There isn’t a single sex scene of JUST the two guys! They have sex with Mila there, but after they professed their love I wanted to see them make love! The ending just felt rather abrupt to me.

As a side note I’m looking forward to Alexander’s cousin, Jared’s book next. I liked the setup done here for him and Gabriel, but I’m also hesitant because the reviews are iffy. Still, I’m looking forward to it (cautiously).

Overall another good one! This was probably my favorite so far (including the prequel). Their chemistry was awesome and they were so sweet and adorable as they fell in love.

MM Romance
4 stars

After reading book 1 in this series I wasn’t sure if this series was for me but it’s just twisted enough that I wanted to keep reading more. Technically this starts as a MFM but from the first encounter it is clear, there is something there between the two guys. By the second encounter it’s MMF but really Mila, the girlfriend, whose idea this was mind you, is a third wheel because Christian and Alexander have such a fucking hot encounter that I forgot there was even another person in this thing and so did the boys.

I loved how Alexander was so protective of Christian after the first encounter even though he supposedly couldn’t stand him. This book was hot. I’ve been reading this series out of order but I like it enough to read it in order from now on.

I normally refuse to read cheating so I almost put the book down when I could tell things were probably heading that direction. But I loved the threesome going from "I don't want to touch the other guy" to only being interested in each other. Mila pushing Alexander was really weird. The bumpy start for Alexander and Christian was only made worse by Alexander's obvious reluctance and lack of inclusion on deciding to continue the threesome. Alexander struggling to accept himself was fun to read. He was so withdrawn trying to project this perfect image that realizing his interest in Christian was more than it "should" be had him stumbling for what seemed to be the first time. It was delightful. Not sure the next book in the series will interest me as they are introduced in this book and one of the characters definitely did not appeal, but I might jump around instead as this series has been great so far.

I didn't expect him to break up with Mila.
.
I liked the book. The jokes about Shawn and Rutledge are so funny.

Why aren't these longer??? I wish it was longer. I liked Christian, I adored him in the beginning. Alexander had his issues but fought the good fight. Honestly I kinda wanted this to be fluffy sweet, but I'm happy with what we got. I thought Mila was going to figure it out before she did, but oh well. I wish they would have been longer, or at least had an epilogue in it. I wanted more of these two. I feel like we didn't get to see the outcome of them finally being together.
