Audio book is the best way to read this for sure.
It’s a good book, but I was a bored. Nothing really happens. But it’s enjoyable

In case no one told you, this book is written entirely as a transcript with around fifteen (15) different characters.

I didn’t find this a “bad” read but it was very slow with no real revelations or character development necessarily.

This book gave an illusion of a build up of some big betrayal or just something in general going to happen as to why the band broke up but in the end it was just a big let down. Seriously.

Typical 1970s band vibe; excessive, easy to access drugs, casual sex, fighting within a band etc. throughout so if that’s your vibe, you’ll enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed this book. When I would sit down to read it, it just flew by. The writing style is fun. The characters are interesting and having so many points of views is really engaging. The characters feel so real. This story just really worked for me and I really liked it.

Definitely entertaining as an audiobook, but the story was pretty predictable and left me with the "Oh, that was it?" feeling. Nonetheless, I'm excited to watch the television show!
