This was my introduction to Ray Bradbury, and quite a stellar one at that. his writing is beautiful and I personally found the boys charming. the ending is carefully foreshadowed but well executed. I listened to it on audiobook and second the recommendation- the narrator was fantastic.

 Looking for a great Halloween book for children? I found this a great middle-grade journey exploring this history of Halloween in several cultures and time periods. It's a great read for kids in the FALL
